Ga West gets new MCE to take over from Nii Tackie

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Mr. Sam Atukwei Quaye to take over from Mr. Ebenezer Nii Armah Tackie as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ga West Assembly in the Greater Accra Region.

Until July 2013, Mr. Nii Tackie was the
MCE for the aforementioned Municipal Assembly but was ordered to vacate his post and hand over to the Regional Minister with immediate effect.

Mr. Quaye has subsequently been named to serve as the MCE for the Ga West Assembly to keep it running subject to the approval of Assembly members.

   

Mr. Tackie had served in such position since 2009 when he was appointed by President J.E.A Mills of blessed memory, for which he (Nii Tackie) played his part in moving the area to another level in terms of development.
